Museo del Oro Zenú in Cartagena

jwgWe visited the Museo del Oro Zenú. It hosts the golden and ceramic creations of the Zenú people who lived in the Caribean plains two thousand years ago. Some Zenús still live and preserve their way of living near Cartagena.
It was interesting to see this ancient stuff and to think about the various sets of people who occupied this portion of South America and that some of the very old traditions are still alive.
