jwgAbout an hour's drive from Hobart is the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo. Lot's of Tasmanian Devils, colorfull birds, Kangaroos, Wallabys, and a nice setting as well.
The Tasmanian Devil is seriously endangered. Some of them run around wild and seem to end up on roads and get hit by cars. And there is a seriously contageous face cancer that is killing many; there is an experimental drug being tried. At the UnZoo there were a number of them in nice settings. We got to witness a feeding; they are pretty agressive and battle each other for the best bits of food.
