There was a small laundry operation in this village; drying was done on the sand near the water which was the spot in the sun.



The women carried huge baskets of wet clothes.


This huge vat of water was convenient for individuals doing their own washing.

In a village near Bagan we saw lots of small enterprises and people going about their daily business. Reused water bottles with fuel in a "gas station", livestock in backyards, various kinds of transportation, Susan admiring a baby, etc.

There was a sugar cane mill in this village with some nice homemade equipment that they were using and making more of.
