motss.con in Minneapolis Aug 18-20
Jul. 9th, 2006 09:46 pmThe annual motss.con is in Minneapolis on the weekend of Aug 18-20 (or the 17-21st) since there are events then, too.
This is the the 19th such con. It'll be small and fun; and you don't have to be a participant in soc.motss to come. Socializing, hanging out, dining, Segwaying, canoeing are all planned. The schedule is on the web site as well as info about the hotel.
The con hotel is the Crowne Plaza Northstar downtown with a group reservation deal that expires at the end of this week.

bitty, bubblebabble, kenrudolph, trawnapanda, rsc, and I) are going to a noon Twins/Indians game at the Metrodome. I intend upon buying the tickets (at $26) late Monday so if you are interested let me know.
