While in NYC for my High School reunion I happened upon this work by Sarah Sze on the SE corner of Central Park. Its proximity to the Apple store is kind of interesting since there is a definite macabre relationship. What is also a remarkable coincidence is that one of my classmates who I saw that very night is Sarah's mother; I knew her 54 years ago as Judy Mossman. The overall structure is a replica of the corner of the building across the street and looks like it fell off and penetrated the sidewalk (I've always liked those 5th avenue hexagonal tiles). When you look inside you see lots of stuff that might have been in that apartment. There have been several Sarah Sze's in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
