Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
Jul. 15th, 2003 11:50 amTonight on Bravo, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy airs. The concept of this show isn't really very appealing to me and it is hard to imagine a whole hour for an episode (there are two tonight). But I'm taping them (conflicts with the All Star game which I am going to watch since for the first time in many years it isn't on the second tuesday when I go English Country Dancing). How incredible to have a show with Queer in its title on regular cable TV that is about style and culture....
Here is its description:
Five gay men, out to make over the world — one straight guy at time
They are the Fab Five: an elite team of gay men who have dedicated their lives to extolling the simple virtues of style, taste and class. Each week their mission is to transform a style-deficient and culture-deprived straight man from drab to fab in each of their respective categories: fashion, food and wine, interior design, grooming and culture.
