How we watched the SuperBowl

We tuned in a bit before the game started to see Renée Fleming sing the National Anthem. Too showy, slow, and odd rhythm. She should stick to opera. I've occasionally argued that we need a constitutional amendment to protect the National Anthem. Stick to the melody, reasonable speed, and no acrobatics.

Then we turned off the set and went out to a Contra Dance.

Much more fun, not lopsided, and no commercials.
