I read A Romance on Three Legs - Glenn Gould's Obsessive Quest for the Perfect Piano by Katie Hafner the other day.. It was fascinating, well researched, and well written. It had a lot of information about piano technology, his chair of course, and his piano technicians. I had previously written here about the PBS program we'd seen. I'm waiting for the library to fill my request for Thirty Two Short Films about Glenn Gould which we had seen many years ago.

I was particularly touched by the statement that he signed his name Glen with only one N because he said when he wrote his name with two N's they often got away and he wrote more.

This is exactly the problem I have when I add banananananananananananas to the Grocery List - I've devised various cures such as starting near the right edge of the list or drawing a vertical bar in the middle of the line as a stopper.
