Masterpiece Contemporary: Framed
Jan. 2nd, 2011 11:47 amThe other night we watched our Tivoed Masterpiece Contemporary: Framed. It was most delightful. It was a story about the storage of all the art work from the National gallery in a cave near a small town in Wales because of flooding in the museum. This was the same cave where the art was stored during WW II. It is full of humorous interactions between the curator and the local townspeople including some little kids. It is available online but isn't scheduled for showing in the near future WGBH. It is loosely based on a children's book (which I requested from the library).
