A trip on the Ayeyarwady River to Tune Thiri village
The Ayeyarwadi River (formerly Irrawaddy river) is a long north to south river through much of Miramar that is a very important commercial thoroughfare. The river is the Road to Mandalay in the Kipling poem.
We took an afternoon trip on the Ayeyarwady River to Tune Thiri Island where there was a small village and some small farms abd caught the sunset at the end of the day.
